Martin Corcoran oral history, 1964.

In this interview, Mr. Corcoran discusses his career with the Amercian Can Company. Topics include: changes in sales procedures and customer service, including differences in treatment given to large versus small accounts; financing processors; competitiveness with other can suppliers; relationships with processing machinery manufacturers; obsolescence of the tin can; the determination of can specifications; handling spoilage claims; developing new forms of packaging; and his evaluation of the New York State Canners and Freezers Association of of the National Canners Association.
